Domo X 7-eleven
Tons of signage of all over, collectible Slurpee cups (and Domo’s own customized taste, Fuji Frost), character straws, coffee cups, and a few truly inventive and humorous packaging design for the hot dog containers. There’s even Domo schwag like hats, t-shirts, and books. Evan Brody, the advertising supervisor for Slurpee, informed Brandweek that 7-Eleven’s consumers “love loopy Japanese shit.”

October 10th, 2009 @ 9:21 am Sure, but WHY
Its driving me crazy why 7-11 would abruptly begin promoting Domo-kun within the manic way that it has. Is that this some kind of product tie-in Are they coming out with a movie or show or something I simply don’t perceive the reasons why they’d begin selling Domo-kun like this aside from hitting up the anime-Japan-centric internet tradition the loves him. I’ve loved Domo-kun for years, but in terms of promoting, I just don’t perceive.
October 14th, 2009 @ 10:16 pm The promotion is aimed to generate consciousness for America’s first Domo DVD, which will include the web shorts, the Japanese commercials, and other extras. thats off of 7-11’s press realise back in may.

October 31st, 2009 @ 3:22 am I think it is a superb advertising method. I discover it quite catchy and have frequented 7-11 extra typically just to see what the shops are promoting. I found one place that bought DOMO superhero t shirts for women keychains and different Men’s HAZMAT Print Long Sleeve T-Shirt items. I gave in and purchased a few superhero t shirts for women as well as my superhero t shirts for women cup of espresso.

November fifteenth, 2009 @ 1:54 pm Sorry, I don’t get it either. Not funny. Ridiculous. I’ve a bunch of youngsters and none of them knew about it or cared. But it is their advertising cash.
November 16th, 2009 @ 2:35 pm Domo is superior! I’m going to 7-eleven after work with my girlfriend to see if they’ve any of this at my local retailer. Hopefully the Slurpee cups are plastic collectibles because I need to drink out of that BrainFreeze one for the remainder of my life.
